CHANGES TO APPOINTMENTS
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2016, PATIENTS WILL NOT BEEN SEEN IF THEY ARE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT.
At their last meeting our Patient Participation Group raised the problem of clinics running late.
In an effort to help with this, as of 1st September 2016, patients who arrive later than 10 minutes for their appointment with a GP, Nurse or HCA will not be seen and will have to book a further appointment.
Currently patients arriving up to 20minutes late for their appointment are still being seen, however this greatly impacts the running time of the clinics and patients who have arrive on time for their appointments.
We are hopeful that this will improve the waiting times to be seen. If you have any further suggestions, or would like to join our Patient Participation Group, please let us know.

PATIENT ONLINE SERVICES
The Bush Doctors are pleased to announce that you can now book appointments, request repeat medication, see your summary care record and see your detailed coded medical record on line. Please click on the 'Patient Online Services' link for further information and the application form for access to online services.
Important changes to how data from your records will be used to shape healthcare will be rolled out this year. Please see link "Your records" for further information.
If you are on regular medication you will be given a computerized print-out of your prescriptions so that you can obtain a repeat prescription without having to make an appointment. Simply hand this in to reception at least 48 hours (making allowances for bank holidays and weekends) before you require your medication or send it to us with a stamped, addressed envelope several days before your supply runs out.

EPS (Electronic Prescription Service)
We can now electronically send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice (please check your pharmacy is currently enabled for this service).
This means that you no longer have to attend the practice to collect you prescription and can have your medication ready to collect at a pharmacy and time convenient to you.
You will need to inform the surgery of your nominated pharmacy; however you can change this at any time, either with your new pharmacy, or by contacting the surgery.
Please note that you can only have one pharmacy nominated at a time, so please ensure we have the correct nominated pharmacy on your record.
