If you are on regular medication you will be given a computerized print-out of your prescriptions so that you can obtain a repeat prescription without having to make an appointment ( except when you are due your medication review ) . Simply hand this in to reception at least 72 hours (making allowances for bank holidays and weekends) before you require your medication or send it to us with a stamped, addressed envelope several days before your supply runs out.
You can request your medication via fax, in person, email and via online access ( please contact reception on how to register for online services )
You can also email us by clicking on the link -firstname.lastname@example.org
We do not accept medication request over the phone
OUR GOVERNING BODY, THE CCG (CLINICAL COMMISSIONING GROUP) HAS IMPLEMENTED A CHANGE TO HOW PRESCRIPTIONS ARE ORDERED BY PATIENTS. THIS IS TO REDUCE MEDICATION WASTE AND ENSURE YOU ARE RECEIVING THE MEDICATION YOU NEED.
WE ARE ASKING PATIENTS TO REQUEST YOUR OWN MEDICATION, BY USING YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT, VIA OUR DEDICATED EMAIL, OR OUR WEBSITE, RATHER THAN ORDERING YOUR MEDICATION VIA YOUR PHARMACY; UNLESS THERE ARE SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES THAT PREVENT YOU USING THE ABOVE METHODS.
THIS WILL NOT CHANGE HOW YOU RECEIVE YOUR MEDICATION OR WHICH PHARMACY YOU CHOSE TO RECEIVE YOUR MEDICATION.
